Rental prices

Post by joey.mike »

Hello,
I am considering a move to Phnom Penh in the near future, and I am wondering about the price of a studio apartment/1 bedroom. My limit would be between 200 usd to 300 usd a month. I was looking on Facebook and found a page for rentals, and the prices there seem to start at 500 usd a month. Is this normal? Or should I be able to find a decent place within my price range? I hear the Russian Market area isn't bad, and that is where I would be looking.

Were they the expat groups on FB? I see cheap places on there all the time. It seems now is a pretty good time to rent. Plenty of places in the 200-300 range. Even around Russian Market.

www.realestate.com.kh Plenty of places in that range, or just contact one of the agents on there, tell them what you want and they'll take you round a few (Covid permitting). Can normally move in a day or so after viewing. Fees are paid by the apartment owner, not you,
