Reliable cattery in Phnom Penh or Battambang
Hi there,
I'm relocating to Cambodia with five cats. Initially I thought of leaving them in a cattery where I'm currently living but if I could find a reliable place ideally in Battambang where they could happily live for a month or two, it would be great (I could visit them while I settle down). If that's not an option in Battambang, what about Phnom Penh? Not the perfect solution but it's another option.
It could also be perhaps not a cattery company but a vet who has enough space to house five cats.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Cambodian cats are half feral. they will massacre your moggies in turf wars and very distrustful of humans. Your five will wind up in soup if they go purring their way up to local. If nothing else gets then the local dog will. I think they are probably far too tame to survive long if you don't keepthem in the house. Cats are not the same here at all. You will need to get all vaccinations and stuff done before you come, you will need clearance from ministry of agriculture and they will probably be quarantined. Livestock is. One pet maybe but 5 could be an issue. Hopefully someone in the forums will know about quarantie and customs clearance. presume they are coming with you so check with the airlinelighthouse wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 3:07 pm Hi there,

I think I haven't asked about vaccinations, stuff, customs clearance, quarantie nor airline. Maybe because I've got all that sorted out already?
My question is simple: cattery in Battambang or PP. That's all.
I'll feed my neighbours twice a week lamb and three times a week norwegian salmon. . On weekends i'll take them for a free buffet to the nearest 5star hotel. I'm sure when you tell them about soup, they will furrow their forehead...
Thanks for your advice, pczz!

I can see you have no idea about catteries in Cambodia but I still appreciate the effort.
Thank you again!!

Re: Reliable cattery in Phnom Penh or Battambang
To be honest @lighthouse I'm getting an uncomfortable feeling about all the questions you're asking on this forum.
Starting with: coming to Cambodia and never have been here before, but out of the places available choosing Battambang.
I mean: really? To START? I have nothing against Battambang, but starting an expat life there (without any strings/friends/work/whatever) seems very strange. To me at least.
And then: coming with 5 cats. Uhm, really? Don't get me wrong, I'm a cat lover, but I would never ever think of bringing 5 cats from abroad into Cambodia. Just not. Period
So, I'm beginning to think you're not serious, but just a troll.

I'm very sorry I'm making you feel uncomfortable with my questions. Please understand that that isn't my intention.
Perhaps you can join me and my neighbours when we go for the free buffet??? Would that make you feel comfortable??
Next time I'm about to post a new question, I'll check with you first. I DO NOT want to take the chance to make you feel uncomfortable again with my questions. Please understand that.
So very sorry.
