"It's a hard line to find at times. The need to carry a rod to protect the dog makes it difficult to build relationships with the rest of the neighbours"

Obviously it's best to get along with the locals. However the love and disciplined devotion of my dogs outweighs the uncouth imbecilities of a grinning yard ape. If they refuse to control their dogs I refuse to control my emotions. Psychological damage for sho, but homey don't play dat shit.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

To answer your original question, maybe would be best not to take your dog in front of the auntie's failing business anymore. Wait a little, the business fails and then your dog can poopoo in the failed business as a statement.
Also maybe would be good if you are a bit more relaxed about basic things in life. Most sure you would live some more years older. Stress and other stuff is not healthy.
Just an idea without knowing your conditions better. If you would like to share more info, would be happy to learn more and even support your social enterprise.
:hattip:
It's actually pretty difficult to piss me off or make an enemy of me, I'm more laid back and accepting than I might appear here. Today is one of my more vocal days, generally I'm unicorns and sunshine.

Unfortunately going past aunty is almost necessary as the neighbourhood is built up in all other directions - it's why we head that way, so he can toilet next to some vacant blocks. He's actually not crapping anywhere near her house, he ocassionally chooses a regular spot which is over the road from her place and kinda diagonally away. The issue is not his crapping, it's her willingness to bully our younger team members.

You're right, stress is certainly not healthy, I know a little about that.

One thing I appreciate about your comment is that you state your appreciation that you don't know my conditions, and therefore don't make assumptions. Kudos.

Oh, and having the dog crap in aunty's failed establishment ... harsh, but I think I like you.

A friend of mine lived down the end of a cul-de-sac in Boeung Tumpun. There was some looney woman who kept lots of yappy dogs. I used to have to find a big stick before I could approach his house, and I smacked the fuck out of them a few times. I kicked one of them so hard in the ass when it tried to bite me one time that I scooped it up and send it flying about 5 meters onto its head. This is the only thing they understand, pain. The funny thing was I was saving them from my mate's dog who would easily have killed any of them in seconds by biting through their jugulars.

Silence, exile, and cunning.

But could you understand it from their perspective? :D

No, if you don't train your animals to behave themselves they should be poisoned or dragged off by the neck to the nearest restaurant. That's just the way it is.

I’m looking forward to the rabbit version of this story.

Next time I’ll just give a pithy smartass comment rather than apply any thought to what I took to be a serious request for comment.
I acknowledged and responded to your thoughtful response to my request for comment, you repeated why you thought I might be wrong and - be honest - you were ready to double-down. Tell me I'm wrong.
You are wrong.
I’ve lived here quite a few years, speak the language and try to understand culture. I get it wrong a lot but try to learn from this. Understanding other people’s thought process helps prevent overreaction from me.
My responses never assigned right or wrong (go on, read them again). I started by saying I don’t know enough details, then said ‘perhaps’, ‘maybe’ etc.
You have been somewhat passive aggressive to my comments - which seem to have hit a nerve with you, not sure why and don’t really care. I won’t comment again.
But sure, wield a big stick and yell at the neighbours - it sounds like a great solution.

We had one pooping in front of our door, we tried speaking to the owner nicely...you know what happened there.

I mixed a litre of bleach with 5 Lr of water and poured it over the area. It hasn't been back since, but perhaps the drop-kick I gave it also helped.
