Prey Sar

Post by Micmac »

With all the crimes against children and women in Cambodia I was wondering if Prey Sar would have a protective custody section.or is everyone just in general population?

In the Aussie prison system if anyone committed an offence against children or women they wouldn't last very long in general population...

I don't really know but considering that all prisons are overcrowded, I sincerely doubt it. The govt. has good news on the horizon however for wealthier cons for whom the rigors of incarceration are too overwhelming.

I never heard of pedo crimes inmate being mistreated while serving time in kow jails.
I have only been visiting SHV jail for a few years for my ambassy so I can't say if it is happening elsewhere but I doubt it.

Thanks for the link Taabrang
Interesting how wealthier inmates will be able to rent VIP cells 🤣🤣.

I wonder why fellow inmates of Prey Sar dont take criminal justice out on those inmates convicted of crimes against women and children.

Do the Guards of KOW prisons rule with an iron fist and any bashings / stabbings against pedo's would be frowned upon.

I couldnt imagine other westerner inmates being to happy sharing a cell with a convicted pedo.

Nothing new about that, they always have been able to. Many get themselves moved to PJ prison because it has much better conditions.

Does the OP know how many rapes and crimes against women & children are committed every week in Cambodia?
I would make a conservative guess at 5 child rapes, at least 1 of which would be a rape-murder and a similar number of rapes & murders committed against women, every week. You'd have to add domestic violence and general crimes against women & children to that, but these are even more under-reported (both to the police and in newspapers) than rape.

It's savage out in the real world.

Crimes against anyone are horrific, especially children, but why is this a topic for discussion?

Do you need a hit on someone? Are you a victim? Are you going to prison and wondering about the joys of anal sex?

I think for the right amount of money you can get yourself into or out of any situation, even prison.

Crimes against women and children is a worldwide issue..
Are suggesting because its a common crime in Cambodia other inmates just accept it? And dont dish out their own justice behind bars ?

And no I havent lived a sheltered life with a sliver spoon in my mouth.
