Osteopathic Clinic recommendations

Post by KOW happiness »

Since I recently had to return to the UK for surgery under the NHS, I've since been told that physiotherapy is likely to take at least 3 months and could be 3-6 overall.

Appointments are every 2-3 weeks initially and then every 3-4 weeks after the first 2 or 3 sessions.

Can anyone recommend a good and experienced practitioner who has sufficient experience in dealing with rehabilitation work for people like myself who have undergone shoulder repairs? I've recently had LARS (a synthetic Ligament Augmentation and Reconstruction device) ACJ surgery as explained here;

https://www.shoulderdoc.co.uk/article/1110

I'd prefer Phnom Penh, Siem Reap or Kampot but would consider other towns/cities in Cambodia and also possibly practitioners who are based overseas in Asia, e.g. Singapore / Malaysia / Thailand etc.

I've no international medical insurance cover, so I am seeing if I can get physio rehab sessions and post-op monitoring which would be reasonably affordable, i.e. under $100 per session preferably.

There's a French Osteopath in Kampot named Hugo.

Charges are modest $20/30 a session.

He gives good exercises to do between visits and is generally highly regarded.

Thanks, that sounds ideal if his treatment is suitable for me.

Is he private or which clinic does he work for?

Thanks in advance.

(Am hoping to get a few options overall, but this is certainly worth good consideration!)

Thanks, I've found this contact now...

...however, I spoke to a friend at the weekend who had used Hugo's practice for similar treatment to what I need. He didn't personally recommend him and suggested I'd find a better clinic in PP.

Does anyone have any recommendations in PP or Siem Reap :please:
