Not really interested in drinking anymore
I fucking love drinking beer. (I drink no other alcohol ever). But I usually take long extended breaks from drinking the amber libation periodically (three to six months). I feel that this gives the body time to repair the damage done by drinking. Usually, when I do once again partake, I do so like a guy just out of prison going at a stipper. This time, however, I just didn't really enjoy drinking. I watched the Stanley Cup and had a few beers, but I didn't enjoy doing this. That is really fucking not in character. Anyone experience anything like this? What do you think?

Perhaps, after the break, your mind doesn't "need" beer anymore, so your old habit didn't kick back in.
I'm just impressed you go on 3-month breaks. The longest I've lasted is a month.

i have been considering the same. I did this before when I was 22 and went for 3.5 months. Still went to bars with friends and just drank redbull or water. My tolerance was so much lower when I drank again.
Just feeling bored of it now whilst last time it was more a challenge.

I hate drinking. But I always forget that until I wake up with a hangover.
Vicious cycle.

It had been over a day since the last alcohol-related thread was started. I was getting worried there for a minute. But, thank goodness, all is right with the world again. We are back on track.
