The point of the Olympia Mall is to serve the Khmer living in the Olympia apartments. Not the city overall. Not tourists. And definitely not foreigners. I posted my impressions a while back.

During my visit, 2 foreigners wandered in. They wandered out even more clueless then when they wandered in.
I visited it once and to me it seemed like it's too large / expensive to just serve Olympia. Large parts of Olympia are business units, not apartments.

Hi everybody,
Just arrived in Phnom Penh.
Still trying to figure out where things are.
Can anybody advise where I can buy a digital clock radio, the type you put on the
bedside cabinet. I have looked through Aeon 1 and 2. Tried Olympia mall (Ghost town)
and several stores in the city...no luck. I thought this would be relatively easy item to purchase.
But so far I've had no luck.
Any Advise is welcom.
Welcome to Cambodia,
In the morning I would advise you to buy non perishable food to last a week.

Good advice, and on the alarm radio thing, it you don't have a smart phone you better get one quick, or you will quickly become lost in the current morass. 8)

Found a digital clock at IBC.
Thanks to Ali Baba for the lead,
I was not allowed into the store, it seems you need both Covid 19 jabs.
I had a photo of the digital clock on my phone, showed it to the girl at the door, she disappeared back into the
store, returning with three different digital clocks. I purchased one. exactly what I was looking for.

I also found IPS computer store right next door to IBC, they have computer components I needed, next door to IPC is a Philips
lighting store. I needed a bright LED bulb.

A successful shopping trip.

Thanks again for the information, much appreciated.

Those cards may be needed for many things, especially if further lockdowns ensue.
