Moving to Sihanoukvile

Never asked a moto for the price. always give 1 dollar from victory hill into town, 5000 to samudera. One guy asked for 2, what i refused, the others were happy with that. Neither did I see a lot of construction when I was there 3 weeks ago, the area is fenced off, but you can still go for a swin and relax at queenco or have a beer at sakal. After a week Snooky gets boring for me but itÂ´s still ok. Hate the tourist beach though

essentially this... victory beach is now pretty much just queenco and those restaurants. the area where browns/etc was is all fenced off, not sure when the actual construction is supposed to begin, supposedly some massive resort like sokah.

It will be interesting to see how the One Billion Dollar Ko Pous Island project affects this area. Land prices will probably go through the roof. BTW/ Check the internet, its a signed deal with an American company (Interstate Resorts and Hotels) who manages and invests in Hotels/Casinos world wide (The American company is owned by the Government of China, take that Vietnam!)

I would move to Sinville in a flash...if there were work available.

I'm pretty sure most Penhers only stay here because most of the work is here.

Agree that own transport is essential, but you can pick up a decent bike for $1000 or under.

Yup. My holidays would be to Phnom Penh if I had a choice in the matter. When you are no where close to retirement age, you have to follow the money. I am not an internet/passive income guy, so my income is usually made in the city I reside in.
