Next visa run stay a little longer and visit somewhere other than SR.
Edited to add that meeting others is easy. People will even hand hold you to make it easier via FB groups
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

Try Phnom Penh, Battambang, and Kampot.

Avoid Sihanoukville unless you want to meet Chinamen.

depends on what kind of lifestyle you lead tbh, i've lived in Siem Reap, Sihanoukville and Phnom Penh, a couple of years ago id of recommended Siahnouk but the place has changed dramatically over the past couple of years and is just a big Chinese construction site at the minute and a lot of the evening entertainment scene has been ruined/gone, Siem Reap is nice and you already have a feel for there, although im not a big city guy i do prefer Phnom Penh now, mainly for the wide range of things to do, day time and evening things to do, always something going on somewhere and lots of people to meet, plus its easy to get around to anywhere else in Cambodia if you feel like a weekend away somewhere different, the trouble with Sihanoukville when i was there is that other than Kampot/Kep everywhere else was a bit of a trek away, Kampot is also a nice place to check out

Give us a few hints. Besides meeting others what kind of activities interest you, what kind of geography appeals to you-anything just more details about your wants and needs.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

Try Kampot then, theres chilled out backpacker bars along the other side of the river, the beach aint too far away in Kep,
the beach scene in Sihanouk is gone, there is the Koh Rong islands but you will end up with the same feeling as you did on Koh Phi Phi

Hi Alexandria.

You shouldn't ever use your real name on this website or other Cambodian web forums.

There are a lot of creepy guys around who have nothing better to do than cyberstalk hot foreign chicks on social media.

But as Jamie said, I think you'd like Kampot.

I didn’t. Even think of that Idk how to change it. I’m thinking maybe to just fly into Siem Reap since I’m familar with it and then bus it to a few places what would be the areas of Kampot that you would recommend

…. If you are going to be a long term contributor to this website (and it is the most popular one for expats in Cambodia), just open a new account with a different name.

Kampot's not that big. You can stay in town or out of town.
