Medications

Post by Funflyer »

Before Covid I was a frequent visitor for a couple of months at a time. When possible I'd like to return for longer, up to 12 months or more. The problem is I need several medicines for a chronic condition and can only get 6 months advanced supply before leaving Australia. Does anyone know the best place to buy specialised medications in Cambodia? I'd be happy to take generic brands as long as they are of good quality. For example, I know in Thailand there's a medical app called Raksa where its possible to purchase medicines online and is less expensive than purchasing from pharmacies at major hospitals like Bumrungrad. :?:

Contact pharmacie de la Gare. They are probably the pharmacy with the largest selection. If they don't stock it you probably won't find it in Cambodia.

Agree with kammekor ... you haven't specified the drug you need but U-Care Pharma do a 10% store card discount thing based on your phone number not a card.
My mother gets her Levothyrox from there and her yearly checkup saw nothing untoward so double thumbs up for them

My daughter is taking a small dose of Ritalin daily for her ADHD and it has worked wonders but it CAN ONLY be sourced from pharmacie de la Gare. So, if your required medication is nothing special try U-Care but if it is a restricted drug in Cambodia pharmacie de la Gare is your best bet.

If you need medicine that is not available in Cambodia you can get from https://dir.indiamart.com/ . There is no problem to import any medicine from India in Cambodia and the transit time is around 7 days.

Great! I had a look on their website and they seem to have my medications. A great backup if I can't source them locally

The pharmacy near the corner of ST 172 and 19 has it.
