Making money importing items from UK to Cambodia
I am going back to Cambodia before long and I would like to purchase some reasonably affordable items which I can sell in Cambodia to make a profit on to offset the cost of the flight ticket.
Am not interested in any illegal items, e.g. class A drugs or firearms! However, anything else which isn't too perishable and is going to provide a good potential return for it's size and weight, I'd be interested in considering if I can legally take it into Cambodia and on an aeroplane flight.
I've already got some ideas and will probably take a selection of different items, I don't mind taking some extra weight since I'll probably pay for an additional 20-30kg of excess baggage anyway.
Can be used or new items, am also interested where might be the best place to purchase them here in the UK, e.g. eBay / Amazon / Supermarkets etc. Items which are likely to be subject to import duties on entry, please specify related details if known.
My budget for this is $1000-2000 roughly speaking.
Looking forward to hearing some suggestions, thanks!!

I bring Coach handbags I buy on sale at the Coach outlet store. My wife sells them on a facebook page dedicated to Coach that has 35,000 followers. Very easy to double one's money but without her language skills I would not have a hope in hell

I find packs of common sense and crates of critical thinking sell well out here. High demand ... not just for the locals either. Hell, back home, i always kept a box of spare brain cells handy for those special employees.

Forget about 30 KG's excess. An extra seat is cheaper.KOW happiness wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 7:51 am I am going back to Cambodia before long and I would like to purchase some reasonably affordable items which I can sell in Cambodia to make a profit on to offset the cost of the flight ticket.

I have a friend from back home who is bringing over some genuine moto parts for mine and others motorcycles. But he's a mechanic so he knows what he's looking for and what exactly to buy, as well as has some friends here that want some higher grade stuff.

Unaccompanied baggage is considerably cheaper than either excess baggage or an extra seat.Kammekor wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 8:58 amForget about 30 KG's excess.
