I want to invest. How many millions do you need?

One condition: We will call the business "Ask a Quack". I really like your commitment to honesty.

I don't understand this. What is this 2-3 hour consultation? Who goes to the doctor for that long unless they have traumatic injuries or need surgery? Is it online? 8)

No. If you’re giving personalised medical advice over the internet for money then you are practicing medicine. Sounds like you’re trying to blag yur way out of legal requirements and/or liability.

2-3 hours is like a boutique medical wellness place. Cash only. The doctor patiently listens to every problem the patient could conceivably have, then orders a battery of tests, examining every orifice and organ. Patients then get a book of results. And a huge pile of prescriptions to be well. Money spinner for the right crowd.

By the way, what the guy is talking about capitated medicine. It’s what health insurance companies do, just on a much smaller scale.

IraHayes wrote: Tue Dec 01, 2020 9:01 pm I re-read the OP. Aaannnd ... of course, our doctor lives in Kep. That place is awash with the type of person who believes in TCM, homeopathy, reiki, and astrology.

What I think has happened is Mr Doctor tried to appeal to everyone in his hope of attracting a business partner and given the sort of person he would have been acquainting himself with down in Kep this affected how he worded the OP. He probably thought the residents of Kep were typical of the type of person who chooses to relocate to Cambodia.
Read the OP again but this time read it as an all-encompassing advert to attract anyone who might partner up with him. If this is true he is obviously willing to bend his morals to suit whom so-ever comes forward. His back-peddling and defensiveness of pseudosciences in his replies is in line with this theory too. Given this insight (if true) it would seem our good doctor lacks a certain sometihng I can't quite put my finger on at the moment... but there's something lacking if all the above is only partially true.

Of course, given the boldness of my claims I would be happy to be proved wrong and if that were the case I would gladly offer an apology and a beer :)
agree
there is just something that sets me off, cant put a finger on it one that stands out is he has an amazing command of English for a German

On line/tel Dr calls/consultations are big business in America now. My daughter uses one for her long covid.
all of her calls are 30 minutes or less
cant see why anyone would need a 2-3 hour consolation
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
