Kittens....
Someone dropped off a litter (?) of kittens a day ago. This resulting in a lot of noise and pretty ugly behavior by some residents. In the end, I had all four in my apartment, bathing etc. As I cant keep them I asked my dentist what to do. She suggested dropping them off at a Wat (Wat Kos it would be in my case) . Not sure if that is possible. Any idea?
Otherwise I have a pair of tiger boys, they have to go together. Hand in glove. An angel of a girl (tiger), and a still scared orange one. The latter needs a lot of work before he becomes social again.
All cats were house cats, about 5-6 weeks old.
My primary questions is about the solution with the wat.
If anyone has a garden and needs very lively and sweet action team, I got one. And the little princess she is perfect for kids or the lady of the house. Straight tail, not the slightest deformation. The other 3 have short crippled tails, looking ok.
No. 4 still has to accept that I pulled him in from the street.
I can imagine some of the incoming comments, but if I (we) can a save a life why not?

Re: Kittens....
The Wat is not really a good choice. In fact, it should be your last choice.
They will go feral, and in a few months 2 cats can breed amazing numbers

15 in 20 months under ideal conditions. I m aware of that. Facebook is another option but there is a time aspect, 4 kittens at once keep too busy. The girl is extremely easy to take care off. She does what one can hope for. I would love to keep but biz travel and I cant trust the neighbor. i also forgot to mention that nasty dog 1 floor below. So all a little complicated

Re: Kittens....
The kittens dumped at Wats invariably die without their mother to feed them. There's a old woman who lives at Wat Koh who does her best to keep them safe/alive (she puts them in a cage at night) but I don't think any of them survive for very long.

You could also contact PPAWS they may take them.
Also try contacting the vets on Facebook like VSL and they will try and help you find a home for them.

I don't think ARC or PPAWS have the resources to be taking abandoned kittens. They would just get overrun with them.

It’s worth trying, at a minimum they will be able to get the word out to their network about the kittens needing a home.timmydownawell wrote:I don't think ARC or PPAWS have the resources to be taking abandoned kittens. They would just get overrun with them.
