info about visiting inmate prey sar

I have the persons full name but is there anything else I need in order to visit someone in prey sar?

Someone mentioned to me a room number. I have no idea what room he is in. Is there a contact number to call the prison. Like an admin office? i tried but couldnt find one.

Is having the person's full name enough to find him successfully? From my understanding there are different parts of the prison.

starting from scratch and appreciate any help

It wouldn't hurt to just visit the prison during business hours (lol) and asking someone, I'm sure it'll involve slipping them five bucks before they guide you to the fella though.

thanks.. so basically his full name and country.. its a long trip to just ask a question. i was hoping for a contact number for my khmer friend to speak w/ someone.

Maybe( most likely ) it’s different there but they wouldn’t let me ( barang ) in to visit a ( girl person )
in the siem reap prison
I had to let my ( driver / boy ) take her a towel , shampoo and durien .

Would be a bitch to escape by land from that place , it’s a maze of shortcuts thru dirt roads .
Yea it’s a long way from pub street !
They wouldn’t approve the fan she asked for .

thanks for all the replies...i just found out he isnt even in prey sar.. i am gonna have to contact embassy ... i didnt realize they had other prisons here

Here in Ratanakiri visitors need (written) permission from the village chief to visit, you can't just walk in.

PJ is in Russei Keo district. It's usually for important/ VIP prisoners. It shouldn't be as difficult to visit as Prey Sar but you'll still have to bribe the guards.
