The availability of ice here is great. I fill up my camelpack with ice and put 500ml-1l of water in it for long dirt rides. The water stays cold for almost 8 hours. Works marvels.

And considering every single bar and restaurant you go to has ice, I wouldn't worry about hygiene being an issue...

I desperately hang on to "tube ice good, block ice bad", doesn't seem to have failed me yet.

I recently discovered that Angkor Mart sells small bags of ice.

That sounds like the bags of ice they sell at 7Eleven in Thailand, about 7 or 8 baht for a bag.

Insufficient freezer space, Jacob. Also, forgot the recipe.

I don't think anal sex is an appropriate topic for this forum.

I make coffee and fill ice trays with it.

Also works with whisky, but takes a long time.

Given I had the choice, I would not drink the cube ice even though it's called 'hygienic ' ice. Try putting a few in with some water in a glass and wait until it is completely melted; you will see black dirt and dust at the bottom of the glass. Just saying.

I'll try that the next time I have some, just out of interest.
