Can't help but think the answer is here somewhere, but been looking and can't find, so here we go...

I'm here on a 6 month visa, I own an online business so not looking for work here. From what I can gather to extend for another 6 months I need to have an employer letter (not going to happen) or set up a business here (also not going to happen).

So I was wondering if anyone knows how long I would have to be out of Cambodia for, before re-entering and applying for another 6 month visa?

I would like to keep my property on, so if it was just like a month, or 6 weeks, I could go live in Thailand for a bit, before coming back and carrying on as normal.

I thought you get one 6 month "looking for work" extension and then you can't get another one, even if you leave the country.

The OP can leave, return on an "E" visa, and then extend for 3 months, right? Or not?

He can return on a tourist visa and extend for a month, then leave again, repeat, I'm fairly sure of that.

It was all looking so positive until the last post there. I guess I will have to ask Lucky Motorcycles again and see what she makes up on the spot this time.

It is now clear (as much as something can be clear in Cambodia) from the new rules that you won't get any other 6 months extension if you do not justify it with a job or retirement, etc...

So you can leave and come back immediately to get a new ordinary visa and extend it for 3 months.

It seems still possible to extend it for 3 months without any reason, as many times as you want (but leave the country and come back every 3 months to get a new ordinary visa).

What about setting up a company, how much it would cost if made only to get a 1 year visa ?
