Just break BDS' other leg and take his KTM, although it's probably cursed that bike. Anyway, get a used KTM 200/250/390, probably more fun of a ride than most BGs too.
Stay away from 110cc, you can get 125 waves.
Yeah would only be looking at 125s,
the only trouble with ktms they are not too practical

Generally practicality is inversely proportional to fun. Guess that's why so many foreigners get airblades, they're kind of fun yet practical also.
Yep, theyre great bikes the newer ones, is it a wave that youve got? I cant remember

I've hemmed and hawed over many months about buying a big bike during different periods in SEA. I've always decided to stick with the tried and true 125 cc scooter. It's just easier to manoeuvre, can be fixed anywhere (!!!), easier to park and it takes loads of groceries (=beer). And if you're somehow "disabled" (=hammered), your PC (=paid chauffeuress) can drive you home and tuck you in bed. The Wave: The preferred conveyance of motocy taxis everywhere.

Not anymore, but I've owned a couple in the past, just ride an MSX for fun and I've got a semi auto for grocery runs. Always forget that gears on the semi automatic are 4down so it makes for some interesting moments. I'll take a look at some of the grey shops here to see if they stock the 125cc wave-i if you want. Probably cheaper to buy it in PP though. Make sure you buy a Thai one!

cool,
yeah my mates kawasaki was 4 up, with a normal gear pedal, which kept confusing me as i kept hitting it down when it was in neutral thinking it was a normal geared bike 1 down 4 up, at least it didnt have the annoying downgear pedal at the back, still not fully got the hang of that lol

yeah if you wouldnt mind mate, just to give me a rough idea, but agree about PP, but yeah if you wouldnt mind

Yeah no worries, i think it's a long shot, most honda wave type bikes seem to be Viet imports but I'll poke my nose in the shops back on O'mouy and ask my neighbour that runs a bike shop.
I remember driving a few kawas, ksr110 and dtracker 250, around the bush in issan and up north on the curlies, iirc the gears were four up. That new little z125 looks like fun too!

IMO a front disk is a must and the Wave also has a replaceable oil filter where the Dream does not! Honda dream 1960,s technology TODAY! :D

I've run a Yamaha Jupiter for the last three years and has been really good!

How are those for parts? One of my favourite bikes in TH was the Yammy Nouvo 135cc, but I never bothered here as it would seem a hassle to get it fixed. The Jupiter and the Sirius are a little more common though in KH.
