Re: HELP! visa expired and dont know how to extend
Agreed, this was in no way vetted for credibility.
Re: HELP! visa expired and dont know how to extend
Hi,
In another thread someone reported that Lucky Lucky (Google Lucky Lucky Motorcycle Rental for address and phone) in Phnom Penh had quoted them a price for extending an EG a few days ago.
It was expensive, but see here:

If indeed possible, that would IMO still be much better than overstaying your visa for an uncertain period of time.
Another travel agent you could try is CINA travel (also in PP). Just see whether they can do something.
As others have mentioned, I would also try to contact immigration in Phnom Penh.
Take care and stay safe.

Re: HELP! visa expired and dont know how to extend
Ive got a taxi arranged to PP tomorrow. But I will definitely give them a call first as well. Nearest border is Vietnam... The other teacher I worked with is having a similar issue and she went to the Vietnamese border and they wouldnt give her a visa. Laos might be possible, but it doesnt appear to be by what is on the government site.Splashback wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 11:03 pm Ring (or head to) PP Immigration tomorrow. They were talking about extending here for people who got stuck. Indonesia are doing it and I'm sure many others are. I would say this is a common occurrence and saw somewhere on FB a guy got it sorted with a travel agent in PP. I'd call first thing tomorrow. They're (in PP) reasonable people in my experience.
Or maybe you can go your nearest border and see if the Cambodian's will just stamp you out and back with a new visa...
thanks for the response

Apparently the person in the other thread also had already been on an EG.IssyCambodia wrote: ↑Tue Mar 24, 2020 2:18 amUnfortunately it is my EG expiring already, so I cannot renew my current visayongchi wrote: ↑Tue Mar 24, 2020 2:07 am Hi,

Re: HELP! visa expired and dont know how to extend
Hi Frizzie, thanks for all your help on this forum. I am not exactly sure why you feel the need to waste your time ranting at random people on the internet. Maybe it is because with all this coronavirus and social distancing you're balls are blue and you're angry at the world... who knows!...
Just like you don't know me...Before accusing others of being stupid, consider that that person has another life to yours and different reasons as to why we are places and time it as we do. My question was asking about visa runs during coVID(which, im sure not alone with) for people who have a home here in Cambodia.
So Keep rolling your eyes at my clearly 'stupid' forum post and perhaps you might find a brain somewhere or the answer to my actual question.
