Re: HELP $$
Didn't go wrong. Had some close calls. My roommate in flight school was killed with his pilot. had a bird strike, engine failure, etc etc
had enough. Loved my time in but it was time to go.
No, cannot pass medical now. No way. This was decades ago.
I am an old guy now. No more craziness. No more bad guys, no more guns. No more dead people. Held a human head in my hands once. Maybe thats where it all went wrong I dont know.
Saw a guy on fire once. Not fun. People change.
I like it here. Simple life.

Re: HELP $$
Exactly. You'd be a very rare oddity. Why can't you get the cash here? What were the payments for? Some sort of unemployment then? If it's not medical or pension related, what exactly was it for?Brody wrote:I've known many military pilots and only one of them didn't pursue flying after their stint in the service, and none became tefl jobbers in Cambodia.

Re: HELP $$
What are you talking about? I quoted you because I was agreeing with you. One rarely goes from hotshot military pilot to tefler in Cambodia (unless retired or something). Pilots go on to work in the civvie world as...well... pilots. Usually making way more money than they did while they served.
I'm not out to get you or anyone else here. There are few people I'm bound to always disagree with about everything. Hell, I even agree with explorer occasionally. Believe it or not, I agree with the vast majority of your posts on CEO.

That does ring of a bit of Trump-style, embellishment, doesn't it?Bitte_Kein_Lexus wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 9:18 pmYou had my sympathies for the entirety of the thread, but things are stretching rather thin for me, sorry. Were you also an elite underwater sniper?JMEYERS101010 wrote:I was a military pilot and member of a counter-drug team. Don't care if you believe
me. I graduated my Law Enforcement Academy at the top of my class. I had full recommendations from fellow classmates, DEA, FBI and ATF and had

"top of my class" " highest GPA" etc
could be true. who knows?

Several years ago I found myself in a similar situation. My solution was to come to an agreement with the Landlord and move my rent from the 1st to the 7th and pay the difference upfront. This was much more manageable as it also fit in well with my utility bill payments.
