Has the postal service in Cambodia improved?

If I want to buy something on Amazon, Ebay, Aliexpress can it be delivered? Does having a PO box help?

From the UK, a signed for delivery arrived within 5 weeks of sending from the UK.
From tracking information, it may have taken 2 weeks from time of entry into Cambodia's postal system, to arriving at the Phnom Penh office, whereupon they contacted my partner (phone number on the package), and she collected the package.
In fairness, though, Royal Mail UK lost track of the package once it had left UK shores within a week, which potentially means that that package had more vacation time than I did last year, what with a 2 week gap that was anything from a lost letter drop to a black hole.
Oddly, I was better able to track the package from Cambodia using the UK tracking information than I was using that same information on the Royal Mail website.

I hope that helps, but hold out no hope that it does.

I'm glad to hear it, as Ive a few birthday presents that I want to order, but wanted some 'been there, done that' kind of support.
Camboquick- does it cost much. I've not used it yet?

You send them Ebay or Amazon link to the product, they will send you quotation. Was cheaper than Ebay post in my case.

Stuff is arriving from Aliexpress again no problems. PO Box doesn't help, because parcels all get sent via couriers (ZTO Express in PP, others elsewhere). And even when they were using Cambodia Post, they'd go to the parcel collection counters anyway so a box was redundant.

I use Amazon regularly - usually delivered via DHL to my door & no issues.

I had was one problem parcel via USPS (USA) which was sent to the post office here & needed picking up, the usual shakedown on import tax etc. I don't mind the usual additional fee they throw on this end, but the pain of hanging around for ages for the package to be brought out, them opening it up to snoops around - wait another 15 mins for the tax guy to be available to randomly mash his calculator & point at some price sheet. It's a time thing for me more than anything.

The second parcel via USPS was lost in the US, so yeah, that's also a thing. Refunded by Amazon no drama, but the moment you see USPS, prepare for fun & games :D

If it comes via post office, nothing, everything has a price. If it comes via DHL, all those taxes/import duties are sorted out up front & you pay nothing on delivery. I also find Amazon refunds almost everything on that front after 3-6 months. Leaves you out of pocket a bit up front, but usually means you end up just paying for the item + delivery cost & you don't get shaken down at the PO for extras.

I understand that personal imports under $50 are tax free. However, you better have an invoice stating the price paid, and make sure you get someone to sign it and get it rubber stamped - they like that sore of thing.
