What do the expats do to get together in Cambodia now that Covid has spread though the country,Are there any expat pubs or restaurants open?

The only time things really changed was during the 3 week lockdown. It's been back to normal after the lockdown finished.

Not going to name places =P

I heard there is a great place on Riverside that is open, busy and serves the best Sunday roast in town.

Hmmm, what's the name of the place...it's on the tip of my tongue...

Haha I would not have thought that you would forget Doc, and it's fare, establishments need support in these difficult times.
To be honest I again have been spending most of my time at home, more so with being the lager on the vaccine scene, but "yes" its Sunday, now I sometimes order via food panda, on also a good Sunday dinner not far from Harry's. The Rising Sun, yet another establishment needing a little custom with again good British food.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Sunday roasts don't travel well.

I never got together with groups of people pre covid,
so no, my life, other than when my local village was locked down for 2 weeks, has not changed at all :-)

It hasn't affected me much. It's more of a problem for my kid who can't go to physical school or play football.

Well, I can't easily go back to my home country for a visit any more. Mrs Cargo is jobless, and being in the tourist restaurant trade, unlikely to improve for a long time.

Could have been an opportunity for us to travel but various restrictions both domestic and international prevented that.

Other than that for me personally not a lot of change..maybe less choice of available restaurants (eating more at home). One positive is that Riverside is not so (tourist) busy these days and venturing out on the moto now has pretty light traffic.

Sad to see so many shuttered up shop fronts in the area tho and one has to be more wary safety wise.
