Happy Pizza guys.........
Re: Happy Pizza guys.........
If they are using rag weed on the "Happy Pizza"s, who would buy them? No desired effect at all.phuketrichard wrote:HUH?? grass in Cambodia is the cheapest drug you can buy an the kind u get on the pizzas is what we refer to as Rag weed. totally unsmokable as u'll only get a headache and sore throat....it can be laced with stronger drugs to save the seller money I guess.
10 years ago u could buy kilos in the market for next to nothing an in the village, grass is still used as an spice
FYI you can buy 100 5mg Valium tablets for $1.50. Grind it up, put it on the pizza, and there you have it. A zombie like tourist who can be violated and robbed not knowing what stuck him and where his belongings are.

Re: Happy Pizza guys.........
Ditch weed (or rag) will still get you high. It just tastes like shit to smoke and you gotta smoke a lot, which is why it is better to use it for cooking.
You could lace a pizza with 100 valiums, but then the pizza would taste like medicine and the customer could get very sick or die and then the newspapers would report that before he died or became violently ill, he was eating at XYZ Happy Pizza. But more likely, the customer would say, "this tastes and looks like valium" and refuse it. Just how finely do you think you can grind 100 pills of valium?
It isn't really a great business strategy, especially because (as Richard pointed out) weed is still the cheapest drug in Cambodia. Yes, even less than valium. The reason there's no difference in price between a regular and happy pizza is because there is virtually no difference in cost. So you'd be spending MORE money to poison your customers with valium and make sure they never return. If this was the standard operating procedure, I doubt there'd be that many Happy Pizza places still around.
Furthermore, it is much easier to lace an alcoholic drink with something and it probably happens a lot more often at some of the dodgier freelancers hangouts. There's also more reason to do this because the freelancer can keep the mark around until he the drugs kick in, then rob him. There's actually some logic to lacing a drink in this situation. There's no logic in Happy Pizza lacing their pizzas with valium. They gain nothing, potentially bring unwanted attention to their business, and will certainly not have very many repeat customers.
I'm still surprised that in 2015, there are people talking about "laced weed" - it doesn't happen. There are some drugs that are almost always cut (99% of cocaine has baby laxative in it), but weed just isn't one of them. It is hard to do and there is absolutely no financial incentive.
The closest example I can think of is that in Amsterdam, the touristy coffee shops are notorious for spraying their bud with various smell enhancers, such as Tasty Puff (https://www.tastypuff.com/), but this is not really dangerous. It just makes the bud smell a little better and weigh a little more. Of course, if the Netherlands actually chose to legalize weed instead of this tolerance BS, they'd be able to put a stop to these schemes through regulation. I am, however, aware of the complicated political issues (i.e. 1961 convention on drugs and US hypocrisy) that makes this unlikely.
Furthermore, when drugs are cut, they're usually cut with things to make them bulk them up, not kill their customers. Killing customers is bad for business. It does happen, through ignorance and incompetence, but most drug dealers aren't trying to kill their customers (well, not right away anyway). They're trying to get you to think you're getting a great deal, while widening their margin as much as possible. They want you to come back for more and it isn't like you're consuming it right in front of them anway, so they can't exactly wait for you to die/pass out and rob you.
The one thing I'd watch out for is when somebody tells you that you're buying one thing (the whole heroin/cocaine tuk tuk scam) and you're getting another. But you shouldn't be doing drugs if you don't actually know what they look like. Just because the heroin is white in Cambodia doesn't mean it looks a damn thing like cocaine.
If a street dealer is trying to hustle you, he has to get his product from somewhere. This is why they sell you heroin when you ask for cocaine. They don't have cocaine, but they can get heroin. They hope you don't know the difference. But they're not the guys producing this stuff. That is higher up; they are buying the heroin from guys above them, guys who have every incentive to not try to kill their customers (because things can be traced). So even if the street hustler is lying to you and trying to get you to buy heroin as cocaine, they're still selling you a real drug that, when consumed in proper doses, will not kill you. The problem is people think it is cocaine and do huge lines and OD. Not good.
If a street hustler decided they weren't going to sell you any real drug, but just white powder in a bag, it would probably just be sugar or baking soda. Why kill if there's no need? You sell a tourist baking soda as cocaine and he's not going to report it to the police because he was breaking the law. If you sell a tourist poison as cocaine, and he dies, well you better hope nobody knows where he got it from because then you're fucked. If you sell a tourist heroin as cocaine, then nobody cares because that tourist bought drugs and overdosed. Nobody is going to investigate whether he really wanted cocaine, but got heroin. He wanted drugs, he got them, and he ODed. End of story.
So yeah, often drugs are mislabeled and cut and all sorts of other things, but rarely with actual intent to kill the customer and definitely not weed. And even more definitely not weed sold out of businesses with store-fronts and reputations to uphold.
As for the other drugs, you shouldn't be buying shit from people off the street anyway. Make connections in real life or buy them online (where you'll find the purest drugs available, according to the DEA).
I know this post has been a bit all over the place, but I'm willing to bet there has never been a valium laced Happy Pizza sold in Cambodia. Just makes no sense.

Re: Happy Pizza guys.........
Okay, accept this. I wasn't referring to consuming all 100 pills in any form. Just "lacing" the pizza with a few to give the buyer some effect albeit not exactly the desired one.MekongMouse wrote:Ditch weed (or rag) will still get you high. Your thoughtful post was helpful and thank you for it.

No, don't trust people in the third world. Usually those I deal with are living in poverty and desparate enough to do about anything if given the opportunity i.e. a foreigner being careless and drinking from a glass poured by her etc..phuketrichard wrote:

Are the Valiums you refer in a blister pack or loose? The only 10mg's I've seen were in blister packs and more expensive than you pay. The 5mg I refer are in a sealed plastic bottle loose, Cambodian brand.

Re: Happy Pizza guys.........
I'm guessing he's referring to the French brand, as they come in sets of 4 blister packs of 10 each. I can't remember the name. As for price, I've paid as little as $1 and as much as $3. It all depends.
The Cambodian 10mg brand is a little cheaper and comes with 3 blister strips of 10 each. I have almost always paid $1 per 30 for these.
I've actually never seen any valiums in plastic bottles; interesting. Are they common?

MM we used to produce a really nice Hash laced with "O" back in the 80's in Nepal;
a very fine high
5 mgs are 75% that price at most pharmacies near central market but why buy 5's as the 10 are scored in half.

Re: Happy Pizza guys.........
Grew pot in my 20s, turned the shake into hash oil, & made a lot of brownies. cookies, & Bourbon balls. People unused to drugs can freak out like on acid if they eat too much. Never had a 'Happy Pizza', but had some brownies in Koh Chang recently. I prefer to smoke weed. I get sick of being high after awhile when I ingest it. The high lasts too long for my liking as it works like Thorazine on me. Now if I could get my hands on some mushrooms.............that's another story. BTW, I try to stay away from Valium as it stays in your system like 4X as long as Xanax. They make you extremely lethargic if you eat them for a week or more. + they (& all Benzos) can be lethal combined with booze, but the Vals are the worst because they take so long for your liver to break down & flush 'em.

Re: Happy Pizza guys.........
Most of the pharmacies over by the Central Market have them. I don't know how common they are. The bottle in my hand says "Cambodia Pharmaceutical Enterprise" as the maker. Deazepan CPE 5mg. They have "worked" for me for many years. About once a week when I'm under stress or personal attack on this forum.MekongMouse wrote: I've actually never seen any valiums in plastic bottles; interesting. Are they common?
