I'm with Cam, why the hell is it so hard to say? Obviously putting people's names in Google isn't happening enough because this thread exists. If you share the information here then it will be bar talk over the weekend and people will know all about it. Up to you.
So you think people should teach Cam how he can be a successful scammer?

So you think arguing with strawmen is cool?

Threads warning about scammers do exactly that. Nobody is reading card scammer threads to learn how to say "nice hat".

Don't get too excited and go scamming people please, explorer. I'm getting worried for you.

That's a great example.

If people had just reported "a Filipino scammed me at cards but I won't give any details" then no one would have been warned at all.

When details were given -- that the scam often starts someone in Sorya Mall or near Wat Botum saying "nice hat" or "nice shirt" followed by "I'm Malaysian, where are you from . . . oh my sister will be moving there to be a nurse will you please come to my house to meet my mom to reassure her" then people were effectively warned not to accept dinner invitations from "Malaysians" who compliment them on the street about their clothes.

I so look forward to seeing him in court in the next couple of weeks!
jjy I feel for what you are going through It must be a very bad experience. Like you say "Tipping up at your apartment" you obviously saw him or someone let you know? Now above you say he now turned up 'with two people to take me out' Who where the other two! Big men, Khmer, or two girls.
How also did you get police protection, did you have photo's or any witness on your behalf. How much money did you lend to this guy, and for what reason. I ask this because you don't seem to want to let the forum know of anything apart, from you say he wanted you to buy him a car. Now you say he as not paid what you have happily loaned him, So now he and two more people are chasing you to another Provence to possibly beat or kill you. I ask you seriously why! If like you say he is not paying you the money back, what means would a person come looking for you. Now you are saying he has killed before, So is he a cold blooded killer, Wow the Ripper of Phnom Penh maybe. Why I ask this is I was visiting Khmer family and friends in another Provence at the time you were telling this story, and I actually rode past the restaurant where he was having dinner with people. jjy you know you can't really miss him can you, him being over 6 feet tall and very broad. Too be fair I would not imagine he would need any help to back him up if he wanted to do anyone harm. You would know that yourself if you knew him.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

It should be common knowledge that if a case is being taken to court, very little details are given out publicly, as it could jeopardize the case.

Why do so many people ask her to go public with the details before it goes to court?

Nothing unusual about that. I hope you manage to take the slime-bag out for a bit.

JJY: "A guy named Greg Blake scammed me out of $10,000 by promising an unbelievably good outcome if I loaned him money."

LAWYER: "That's terrible. If you give me $20,000 in a paper bag, I absolutely guarantee you'll get your stolen money back and that Mr. Blake spends the rest of his life in a prison filled with cobras and crocodiles."

JJY: "Here you go. Let me know if you need more."
