Thanks RV. A good doctor is hard to find for sure.
Mods, how best to save this info so it's easy to find when I am too ill to use the search engine ?
(I can't find a bookmark,save or flag function. I did look.)

^^ At the bottom of the page you will see a 'spanner' icon. Click on that, then subscribe or bookmark.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. First
in rereading the post, I found a mistake. The email address should be [email protected].

I deliberately didn't include the website since I suspect that it is outdated. In all my visits there I only saw at the most two other doctors. Perhaps the others are on call or work part time, I don't know.

Hi.Lil.Salary, yeh it's been a long.time. but I doubt.you've had.difficulty finding company on this forum. So, do I trust Khmer.doctors? Yes if

1) they have been trained and qualified to practice in a Western country or
2) if they work at Kantha Bopha(which doesn't help me at all) or if
3)a reasonably intelligent foreigner.like.this.OP documents his experience in detail with.praise.

In short I consider training and education OUTSIDE of Cambodia to be the most important criteria. Of all the ministries.I distrust The M.of Health is near the top. How bout you Lil Sal?

Don't want to burst your bubble and glad you got an accurate diagnosis. That doc did, however, mis all the tell tale signs when my friend had pneaumonia, and sent him home. The guy came back at death's door later and then he was kept in. He will pray for you though.

Rick, first of all the.diagnosis was not mine and while your.friend's misdiagnosis is unfortunate your post is lacking in details to fault the doctor. It does seem howwever that he received the care he needed. As for the prayer if it is in addition to professional care, I see no harm and after all it is a Catholic funded clinic. Too much anger Rick and not enough facts. No bubbles bursting here. Plus, no doctor gets it right all the time.
