Well, I plan on testing my game in tournament play next year ... if I can get a few top 10s ... will shoot for Q school and the Senior Asia Tour 2025-2026 season.

In the 90’s pro’s were averaging less than 290 yards. While our Matteo was hitting 350 yard bombs.
Even these days with better equipment, science and fitness, the tour leader averages around 330.

This Matteo guy is quite an athlete.

Learned from Jamie Sadlowski ... sent my kid to his summer camp years back ... distance not the problem, it's being able to do it under pressure, in weather, be accurate and consistent ... that's why the pros make big bucks. Plenty of guys can out drive the average PGA pro, but put them in tournament play, and it's a different story. And anyhow, short game wins tournaments ... putt for the win.

Absolutely, and he isn’t just outdriving the average PGA pro. He is outdriving the very best PGA pro. This kid is good. In the 90’s he was more than 20% better than the best professional.

lol, I just checked the winners for the world long drive competition. In 1994 it was 345 yards.
