Which no one has ever questioned except pczz.Anthony's Weiner wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 10:42 am The world's biggest baked bean factory is located in Wigan, England. The beans come from North America and are rehydrated and cooked in the UK. Over 2.5 million cans of Heinz Beanz are sold every day in the UK. Jan 25, 2018

Wigan is 95% UK born, 98% English speaking and 78% Christian. Just the way TOG likes it. However the beans are American grown and Heinz is an American company, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA.
Why bring racism into this unless you are trying to bait someone? You and pczz are two of a kind, not much to do, unable to comprehend posts written in English and too much spare time on your hands.

RB's chili was coming along nicely until the wheels came off. Pineapple in chili? WTF? And where is the beef mince? Sorry, that may actually taste OK but it ain't chili! If you did that in Texas you'd be shot (although that's not so unusual there). And no, I'm not a Yank!

Sounds about right. However I have to admit a fondness for mushrooms and even a bit of bacon. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

I've been quietly bemused about the longevity of this thread and realise that many of us just want a nice quiet chat without a load of crap from the peanut gallery.Cinnamoncat wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 10:03 am Best thread in a long, long time! Thanks for the great read.

They're available at Psaar Thmei - your Khmer friends will tell you it's the laziest rice cooker they've ever seen. Make sure the vendor fires it up before you buy it, and keep in mind many are rejects. We have two, in two sizes, one of which is lazy like a budget massage, the other is Speedy Gonzales.

Or you can splash out on pricier, better quality, imported crock-pots/slow cookers from places like Home Top, Home Fix, Aeon Mall department store, AFS (Australian Factory Seconds) Store, AU Surplus Store, K-Four, etc.StroppyChops wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 4:00 pmThey're available at Psaar Thmei - your Khmer friends will tell you it's the laziest rice cooker they've ever seen. Good call. I've seen fancy pressure cooker types at AEON but that was near $100.
A few months back I got a nice slow cooker at K-Four. I've been using it 3 to 5 times a week since then and it works like a champ, no issues and K-Four gives a warranty with it. Looks like they're imported from Singapore.
