We would have been there about the same time. Incompetent double-booking monkeys and thieving cleaners. Not a bad locale in it's day, and the hookers in the lobby bar were alright, but I'm glad to see that shithole go.

Which of those reviews says theft was "organized from the top down"?

Is there any basis for calling the owner a thief other than "I know a guy who said the owner was a thief but offered no facts or basis to support that conclusion"?

well, i suppose you could apply to be a mod here and enforce rules of evidence on every post as in a court of law.
until then, rumors and anecdotes are still allowed.
maybe work on your reading comprehension for now.
speculation is the currency of discussions

stayed there a few times back in 07,08 and it was great, free airport pickup, large clean rooms, big bathrooms, good breakfast, girls available 24/7 an only a crawl away from Walkabout

I suppose it doesn't really matter who stole stuff when it gets stolen, but there were numerous accounts of thefts, and many people claimed that the management were apathetic..which basically means they knew about it, but did little or nothing. I think that is reasonable grounds for suspecting they may have been involved...of course if you want 100% proof before you heed a warning, then in many cases you will just suffer.
