5 ?!?

Jesus christ, one guy with a clipboard would have sufficed.

I use the smart phone app and I was able to put my new visa extension number in without re registering. You just select 'edit check in' and plug in your new visa extension number and end date.
Yes it does seem to be a glitch in the web version that you can’t update the visa number.

I’ve just registered on FPCS. I’ve done it myself, as the landlady had no clue, and couldn’t be told. Is there any fallout as a result? I’m now registered, but she obviously didn’t do it.

Technically it is the responsibilty of the landlord, but there will be no fallout as a result of registering yourself. Remember it is still a fairly new system and will take years, if ever, for it to be correctly implemented, not to mention fix all the bugs in the app.

When this first started and there was a lot of confusion about it, like a lot of people (I assume) I registered myself. I didn't know that it had to be done by your landlord. When I realised it had to be done by your landlord, I got her to do it, but I haven't deleted my own registration, so I think there are two instances of me being on there.

However, when I renewed my visa back in October, the agent just wanted a screenshot to show that I was actually registered on there. He didn't seem to take any notice of who registered me. My visa came through without any problems.

And if you have no landlord?
when i am able to move to Kep, I will register myself as its my house I will reside in.
I take it that is OK?

Or possibly your girlfriend can register you.

My landlord didn't believe me at the time, so I registered myself, then on the final day that they allowed for the forginers too be registered the landlord came and said he had been in contact with immigration, so he registered me.
So I am registered with two apps, just has well because when talking about what is expected, such has the landlord checking me out and in if I was to have holidays, he said he only time he would look or do anything again with the app is when I give my notice and leave for good.

I just logged into my FPCS on my phone and have noticed that my 'Check in' and 'Check out' dates have changed. Before, my landlady just put an arbitrary date in for 'Check in' and added one year for the 'Check out' date, but they now match with my visa renewal and expiration dates. Neither myself nor my landlady have changed anything so I guess the immigration department change them when you renew your visa.

Which raises the question of what to do if I move? It seems that the check in / out dates are supposed correspond to our visa renewals rather than when we move in and move out of accommodations?

It's all very confusing...
