Exit Visa for Khmer child with foreign passport

Let me explain....

Have both Cambodian and US passport... Exit/enter Cambodia and other ASEAN countries on Cambodian passport...enter/exit US and other Western countries with US passport.

Understood?

I just noticed that UT posted in the OP that exit visas were valid for 14 days, I should have picked up on that and corrected him.

They are indeed only valid for 7 days, from the date of application, as you have discovered. This has always been the case as far as I am aware.

Hi can you pick up the exit visa on the same day or do you have to come back a different day to pick it up?

As I recall, we had to go back a couple (or three) days later to pick it up.

Thank you for the replies ,and does the exit visa take into affect the same day you pick it up or the day you apply for it? Because I know it expires in a week.

Takes affect when u apply. You get it 2 days later so in reality the visa in your hands is only good for 5 days.

What documents did you submit to get the exit visa and did you also supply copies of them?

Did you even read the OP? That's why it's there.

Take the originals, they will take whatever copies they want to take themselves.

P.S. As of September 2016 Exit visas are no longer gratis, official fee is $20.
