Disposing of batteries?

Post by Bitte_Kein_Lexus »

Ok, I've admittedly thrown away a few AAs over the year, but I now have a laptop battery to get rid of. My conscience is wondering if there's an appropriate place to take it to. Anyone know about one? Surely there's some NGO taking care of this...

I'd throw it in the bin.

I think NGOs in Cambodia have better things to worry about.

LoL, I don't know, I would never put "pettiness" past them here.

Hell, there's even an NGO collecting used bars of soap from hotels to mush together and and more bars of soap. Image

They might even try to arrest him for the previous AA batteries he's thrown away before. Image

It really makes me acid.

Charge him with A-salt and battery, he's probably an ACDC fan.

Haha, well I set myself up for that. I guess I'll just dump it. My NGO comment was tongue-in-cheek, but I do remember seeing government signs about battery disposal before (if I remember correctly, in the countryside of all places). I just feel that local landfills don't need any more items like that than they already have, though I suppose my laptop battery is not exactly the most toxic thing there. Carry on.
