There's a "well of knowledge"? If that's the case, Sailorman you need to drink deeper - a lot deeper, perhaps more than your tiny brain can hold. Your opinions are not informed, they're the scare-mongering crap delivered by racists all over the world. "Europe will be over run by Muslamic-Rayguns by the end of 2030, fact!" as though it actually is a fact and not something that racists make up to support their racism.

The Syrian refugee crisis is one of Europe and America's making. The reason Europe is paying the price for it - is that Europe is next door to Syria and America is a long way to swim for even the most determined person. It is our obligation to take these people in and ensure that they are looked after because it's our fault they are there in the first place. Propping up military dictators has turned out to be very unwise foreign policy the world over... but we're still making the same mistake and then wondering why we have to sort out the mess. If our nations delivered on their commitment to foreign aid, delivered it in a joined up manner designed to help rather than put money in consultant's pockets, and targeted aid where it would do the most good... we'd have far fewer refugees and migrants to deal with. Half the money, that was used to bail out ineffective banks, spread across 38 years would eliminate poverty globally.

If you can't add to the discussion, please keep your infantile personal attacks to yourself.

I still don't see an answer from the flamers here that call me a racists and redneck (and probably never will.) How can a racists/redneck back a man of African descent for president of the United States? A racists/redneck can't that's why. I back Dr. Ben Carson for President. By calling me a racists/redneck you just show your ignorance. I would love to be able to post and not be attacked by loser flamers with no knowledge of the subject and wearing blinders to the truth.

I was being treated like shit by A-rabs/Isamofacsists , long before you were born. Please, have knowledge of your subject before posting. I'm glad of one thing, and that's that my home country isn't England or Europe that is being invaded my Muslims. Look at some of the pictures which show young, healthy Muslim men invading England/Europe. How many of them are sleeper radicals who are now being accepted with open arms by soon to be sorry countries.

I thought I'd never say this, but I am sure glad the people invading America are Christians and not followers of a mindless religion that is stuck in the 13th century.

I don't see anywhere that the Swiss are taking in any of these illegal invaders. Either the Swiss are to smart and don't suffer welfare scammers and Islamic radicals, or the invaders don't like the Swiss work ethic.

what you on about? i have more current knowledge about the subject than you do... tell me, where do you acquire your current knowledge of the fact muslims are taking over England + Europe?? LOL

out of the whole world muslim population only 2% live in Europe... and 4/10th (nearly half) live in Russia, only 2% of the british population is muslim, 0.2% of the total world muslim population...

but we are being taken over obviously...

stop listening to the propaganda media, its full of bullshit, on English soil muslim extremists have killed 53 people Total... on US soil muslims have killed at least 3,000 people... considering youve only been a country for 239 years, whos got the bigger muslim problem??

dont get me wrong, im all about conspiracy theorys, i believe that 7/11 + 7/7 bombings were all inside jobs, but everything youre going off is just "evidence" fueled by the propaganda media that youve probably seen on the news or online, its just fear mongering, there are nearly twice as many muslims living in Thailand than there is in the UK, and dont forget Malaysia, if i needed to be worried about muslims me living in Cambodia would be more of a worry lol

I wonder what Sailorman thinks of this, its closer to home than he thinks.............. :dragonchase:

Officials: US to increase number of refugees by 5K next year

WASHINGTON (AP) — The United States is prepared to increase the number of refugees it resettles by at least 5,000 next year as European countries struggle to accommodate tens of thousands of refugees from the Middle East and Africa.

Two officials and a congressional aide said that Secretary of State John Kerry told members of Congress in a private meeting Wednesday that the United States will boost its worldwide quota for resettling refugees from 70,000 to 75,000 next year, and that number could rise. A fraction of those would be from Syria.

Can't help but think there is symmetry of the displaced people seeking refuge and safe haven from the ever escalating US/UK governmental warmongering, now inclusive of targeted UK drone strikes.

It does seem there are two differing price points of a drone strike;
1. £50k* of publicly funded monies irregularly spent
2. 50k displaced people seeking refuge in 'the west'

*Excluding the up front $28 million payment from public funds;
