If you cant keep up with the simple rules of staying legally in a country you dont deserve leniency. You could have had a lot of fun with the money your going to pay to immigration. Thats so stupid....

Re: Dealing with overstay
why would ur embassy get involved with ur overstay in Cambodia?fsdfdsdf wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 6:41 pmProblem is I will have to organize the money and possibly have my embassy despute their decission and I don't want to be detained while I do these things.LIVIDZX wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 5:21 pm I'm guessing immigration must have it on record when your visa expired so as long as you can cover the fine ($10 a day) you won't be detained. If they don't know when it expired, then I don't know... but as long as you have money you won't be getting locked up.
If you dont have the $$ ur shit out of luck

How much did you get when you sold your passport ?fsdfdsdf wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 4:32 pm "Long story short my passport was stolen. I mean I could pay to get it back but it was cheaper to get a new one." Now have a new one but I'm in overstay. My usual agent won't deal with it and tells me to go to immigration. I'm worried if I do that I might end up being detained. Any ideas how this is usually dealt with?

Re: Dealing with overstay
Thread translation:
1. Don't want to pay or can't pay. I suspect it's the latter.
2. Wants someone else (preferably embassy) to sort it out.

Re: Dealing with overstay
I must say I do appreciate these threads.
Everytime one comes up I check my passport for my current visa expiration date. Now, as I am reaching into my desk drawer for it I "Know" when it expires.... but ... I still check.
Could I request another thread at around the end of May please.
