Here you go again, Trolling. Don't change the subject. We were discussing the Bitrex error that you got, as below. See the Contact Us button.

Yes it was very straight forward.
First, I opened an account at poloniex.com (the CryptoCurrency Exchange)
Then opened an account at bitcoincambodia.com
At poloniex I grabbed my account number which I needed to pass on to bitcoincambodia.
At bitcoincambodia I clicked on buy bitcoin, then it said to send the money via Wing to the phone number given, then send back the Wing Code.
Less than an hour later, there were bitcoins in my account at poloniex.

I'm currently retired and living in The Bahamas. :whistler:

I've been using the Copay wallet and the Jaxx wallet - both of which are apps for your phone. Both seem to work well, are easy to use and free.

The Jaxx wallet has the advantage that it has "Shape Shift" technology included which lets you add Bitcoin to the wallet, then convert it into many other popular altcoins within the app for a small fee - no need to go through an exchange.

This guy has a good youtube channel for beginner Bitcoin stuff - here is a demonstration of the Jaxx wallet.

So, is it safe to look at my Bitcoins now? Before the split, I recall reading something about leave them alone until after the split was done, as you could accidently lose them while they're being 'cloned' on 2 seperate block chains or something....

Yes, now everything is safe again. After this hard-fork on 1st August you can also benefit from "Bitcoin Cash", a new currency which exists after this fork. For example when you own 1 Bitcoin before hard-fork then now you own 1 Bitcoin and 1 BCH (Bitcoin Cash). Important is that you have possibility to import your bitcoin address to a wallet application which supports Bitcoin Cash using private key.

On https://coinmarketcap.com/ you can see the current market price of each currency.
