Thank you, that is very helpful information. Actually I'm asking because my flight gets in about 11:30 pm so I will need to get a hotel for the night straight from the airport and I'm looking for something close so I won't have to travel far with luggage and what not.

Also I am planning on moving for the long term. At least 1 year. So my question is...as far as luggage goes would you guys think that less is better? I know I'm going to need to get a tuk tuk because I have 1 suitcase but I ask because I don't want to be lugging around a suitcase all over town so I need to know exactly where I am going. Trying to get as much information as I can before I go my date of departure. Any tips, tricks, helpful tips you guys might have is greatly appreciated. Book a hotel, let them know you will be arriving late. Walking to tuk tuk from airport and from tuk tuk to hotel is gonna be the same no matter where you are staying.

Edit: although personally I would get a taxi.

you can google and get the info.. No need to book in advance, at least from my experience. I have had a few friends stay at Velkommen Inn and no complaints.

I don't suggest booking in advance...You never know what room they might give you and the place might look different then what you see online....You can just go directly to the hotel/guesthouse ..ask to book a room...and have them show you the room in advance, before paying
