Which would you rather happen to your wife/girlfriend/daughter? I believe that Hollywood macho man has given us a misguided view of our own powers if an unjust act is perpetrated against ourselves, our friends or family (eg Taken). For those of us living in the States these fantasies often involve guns (I prefer a lump of shit in the Lexus airvent) The idea that one man can take on 5 with his fists and walk away uninjured is just as daft as one untrained (or even highly trained) man taking out 5 with a gun. Just fantasy. Guns have a tendency of causing fatal wounds. Fists on the very rare occasion.
