Perhaps you could take him to PPAWS and ask them to show you how to give him a tablet safely. It can be done.
What does PPAWS mean? Is it vet and my pets can get vaccine?

You can't vaccinate pets against intestinal worms. You got to deworm them regularly. Out-door cats basically every 4 - 8 weeks (live cycle of the worm, fleas, eating infected mice, and so on).

Hmmmm........children have a reduced immune system, but on the other hand the worm eggs need about 4 weeks to activate.....so normally there is no direct danger. I would be careful with heavily infected cats though.

They are very hard to kill because they are inside of an protective layer......so they can live up to 15 years in optimal conditions.

How to give a cat a tablet: easy.....wrap the cat in a towel, like this:

Navetco Animal Clinic
No. 45A, St. 173
[corner of St. 318]
Phnom Penh

Although our dog hasn't had any major issues, would recommend this vet and pet shop in Phnom Penh.
Khmer vets and also support staff for standard things like de-worming and flea ticks meds, shampoos etc.
Talk on the street is they are considerably cheaper than another large veterinary practice in PP.
All sorts of cat & dog food, also treats and toys and all the rest of it including pet clothes for those inclined.

Thanks SC and CJM555. They seem good clinics, but maybe I want to go to a clinic with cheap price and good care. :-)
