I just sent them my final itinerary and they actually resent me the Forte Health Insurance and moved the starting date of health insurance to reflect the actual day I arrive.

I was giving my self some wiggle room -- didn't expect Forte to be so customer friendly. I didn't even ask them to change it. They did it on their own
Their customer service is excellent and they are very accommodating when it comes to changing the inception date....every time I've emailed them I've received a response within half an hour, they must be the only Cambodian company which actually replies to emails. :thumb:

It took a while, but the IATA finally got it right, and the airlines followed suit. Fucked up a lot of peoples travel though initially.

I travelled/travel with several copies of all of the official Cambodian Govt and SSCA Notices to argue the case with airlines if needed, and advised others to do the same, and have had no issues.
In fairness to IATA and some of the other organisations, a lot of countries phrase things so very poorly, and/or rely on some very bad translations without checking the accuracy of the result- I've seen a good mix of 72hrs before departure and before arrival statements. even just recently. The rules are fluid and open to so much individual interpretation. For instance- someone in immigration having been away on leave and not being fully aware of the new rules, and causing utter mayhem when 200 passengers departed legally but somehow arrived illegally. Or for myself and my colleagues being harassed for not remaining in quarantine for 10 days, at the beginning of a 12hr stay, when we are exempt in the first place.
The bureaucratic mismanagement is incredible, and a lot of the frontline staff are hastily recruited and trained, yet don't have the aptitude to keep the variations clear in their mind, beyond the minimum qualifications of being willing to be paid not a lot!

Jesus how do you do that, what do you do with all that time transiting?
Haha, it's shit...but I usually just go to the lounge and drink free piss, sometimes get myself a bed in the transit hotel if available and not too expensive. Thankfully my last few flights haven't been so bad.
That's why I flew into Christchurch and not Auckland 2hour transit instead of 13, just the hassle getting back to auckland after quarantine but worth it.
I'm standing up, so I must be straight.

No...there are currently no exemptions from any of the current entry requirements and restrictions for those who are vaccinated.

Good day. Can you please tell me if I am vaccinated against Covid 19, can I enter the country without PCR tests ? Earlier I read that on the Internet that deposits are needed when crossing the border. In general, what are the rules of entry for today?

Did you read the reply posted yesterday directly above your post?
No! You need an e-type visa which requires an invitation from an employer, a pcr 72 hrs or less before flying and 14 days quarantine for $2k on arrival.

Cambodia's land and sea borders remain closed to entry of foreigners (unless authorisation is obtained in advance from the relevant Ministries of each country), but you can still fly in to PP or Sihanoukville if you meet the requirements below....

Must have a valid multi entry/exit Visa EOS (Extension of Stay), A-type (Diplomatic), B-type (Official) Visa, C-type (Courtesy) Visa, E-type (Ordinary) Visa or K-type (Special) Visa.
If not in possession of MEEV EOS, then you need to apply for Visa in Advance from a Cambodian Embassy or consulate. T-type (Tourist) Visas are not being issued. Justification is required for Visa type being applied for.

1. All T-type (Tourist) Visas, Visa Exempt entries (ASEAN passport holders), Visas on Arrival and e-Visas (electronic online Tourist Visa) are suspended.

(*Taiwanese passport holders are eligible to apply for the E-type (Ordinary) Visa online at https://www.evisa.gov.kh/ )

2. All Passengers must have a printed medical certificate indicating a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result issued at most 72 hours before departure from first International embarkation point. Must be original (not copy), must have wet signature & stamp.

3. All General foreigners must have a printed Forte COVID-19 Insurance policy. Available at https://www.forteinsurance.com/covid-19-insurance/

- This does not apply to nationals of Cambodia travelling on a Cambodian passport, or foreign passport with K-type (Special) Visa.

- This does not apply to passengers with an A (Diplomatic) or B (Official) -type Visa issued by Cambodia.

4. All General foreigners must deposit USD $2,000 at a designated bank on arrival.

- This does not apply to nationals of Cambodia travelling on a Cambodian passport, or foreign passport with K-type (Special) Visa.

- This does not apply to passengers with an A (Diplomatic) or B (Official) -type Visa issued by Cambodia.

5. Passengers are subject to medical screening on arrival and mandatory monitored quarantine for 14 days (minimum) at a facility allocated by the MoH.

- Nationals of Cambodia travelling on a Cambodian passport, or foreign passport with K-type (Special) Visa can quarantine for free at a Government quarantine facility, or opt for hotel quarantine at their own expense.

- General foreigners quarantine expenses will be deducted from the deposit.

- A (Diplomatic) or B (Official) -type Visa holders can pre-book their quarantine at the Himawari Hotel.

- A-type (Diplomatic) Visa holders can be quarantined at an approved residence as arranged by the Embassy.

All arrivals will receive a 2nd PCR test on day 13 of quarantine, and will be released from quarantine following negative test results on day 14 (depending on how long test results take it could be day 15 or 16). (Day of arrival is day zero)

Unused portion of deposit can be collected from main branches of the bank used for the deposit.
