Spoken like true "renters for life". Rent is lost money unless you are the one collecting it.

Slightly off topic, but please indulge me;

I heard you can buy a property in a company name with 51% Khmer owned and yourself 49%, and, simultaneously at the time of transfer, you then lease it back to yourself for a peppercorn rent for a period of 50 Years (I understand that's the maximum term at present) but the lease can contain an option to extend the lease for another period of 50 years, thus de facto a 100 year lease.

Is this possible?

What would be the annual tax and filing charges be on such a property owning company and if they fell into neglect could the state take the company and revoke the lease?

i think making only $1,200+ /month and not working nor plans to work, (only play games allnight)
ur not going to make an sizable investment any time soon :-)
i do plan on working in China as soon as I can get a visa. Perhaps if my mother dies soon i can get her house. That would be worth about 400,000usd

I really want to go to Russia after seeing that 20000USD house for sale there..
