Business Visa requirements for 12 month multientry
Re: Business Visa requirements for 12 month multientry
For context...please advise:Username Taken wrote:Didn't say that.NokTang wrote:Are you two saying that you need a Work Permit to get the one year extension?
However, the rules are changing so things may get tighter in the future. Who knows?
How much of the $280.usd is actually for the VISA Extension i.e. documented fees, and how much are the agency and their contacts pocketing. I don't mind paying, just curious.
Thank you.

I understand the documented fee is around $150. But, I've never heard of anyone getting it for that price. Plus, I think you need to apply months in advance.
Most agents charge the $280. (That seems to be considered normal price).

i "lost" pulled out an old Cambodian visa sticker about 3 years ago,
NO ONE would place a stamp on that page till i went to Burma an asked them to staple their visa on the page,
U might as well get a new one as your going to have to leave sooner or later an with no pages.....
Maybe if u slip them some extra $$$

I forwarded your enquiry to my in-house legal adviser, current Mrs CJM444, I understand the situation is I am retired but it could equally have been retarded.StroppyChops wrote:No mention of work visas, CJM?CJM555 wrote:I've used Lucky Lucky motos...

They won't do that, you will just be required to carry around BOTH passports until the old visa in the old passport is no longer valid/needed.General Chatter wrote:I have no pages left in my passport, which is valid for another 5 years.

That will happen when you exit Cambodia next.
They will stamp you out on your old passport and all new visas will go on your new passport, thus rendering your old passport officially dead.

Re: Business Visa requirements for 12 month multientry
I remember reading about someone doing it on 440 and I think it was just a few weeks and he went to a place near the airport, can't remember the specific ministry.Username Taken wrote:I understand the documented fee is around $150. In any case, unless you're short on cash, I really wouldn't recommend the headache. The system seems designed to route us through these extension agencies, so any attempt around that is going to involve heavy resistance. Why bother?

Just expended mine and was 280. Asked a few places and little difference.
