It must be your looks. Fresh shirt, shaved face, mouth-wash and the girl wont be hiding anymore. Ah, no slippers. Otherwise try line 1

If you enjoy noise pollution and obnoxious driving practices, Phnom Penh is the place for you!

I cut and pasted the post above. The last part got corrupted in the process. Sorry for that. It should have been:

Line 1, of course, where else? Very nice today at 11.35. That the bus passes by the university has also many merits.
It is good to see that the line is well used. The one going all the way to the roundabout near the airport and beyond is also pretty full with workers. By now I have almost never problem catching a bus along Monivong. Superior service at a fraction of the price for a bike. Also zero hipsters.

I tried the city bus for the first time not long ago. It was clean, quiet, cheap and had lots of eye candy. It takes forever compared to riding a bike, though, so I don't think I'll use it much.Pizzalover wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 8:00 pm Line 1, of course, where else? Very nice today at 11.35. I tried it a two or three years ago when it started, just for novelty value. The buses were surprisingly comfortable and had good aircon too. The only time I tried to actually catch one I just got bored waiting and got a moto or something. I'd like to see them catch on more, it would be great to be able to travel more economically and could ease a lot of congestion.username wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2017 12:17 amI tried the city bus for the first time not long ago. The situation has much improved and the long waits are mostly history but it can happen now and then. While I do not mind the savings, another aspect is more important. I still do need to take bikes on certain errands but hate it because it is so unsafe. Even if I have to wait a little the feeling that I don’t have to worry is such a relief. Besides, the bus is good for the environment and congestion. After all, I m keeping a bike of the street.

I use the bus service quite often and I see more and more Cambodians now using it. Several times the buses I have been on have been so full it's standing room only and the girl with the tickets just gives up collecting the 1,500r and everybody travels for free. Doesn't seem to be a big issue
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
