Breast surgeon?
This might sound funny posting on a predominantly male forum but many of you have wives, GFs right? and I believe there is at least one member here who's a doctor (@Kuroneko)? So, serious question.
One of Mrs Cargo's friends has a lump in her breast that is causing her some pain, she went to a doctor who referred her to Calmette for an ultrasound. I might not have the story quite right given it's hearsay but the upshot seems to be that she has a cyst and 2 other small ones. They offered to operate to remove them but I guess she hesitated given the seriousness of such an operation. They also said they can do another ultrasound in 3 months to see if there's any change in size etc. Nevertheless, it sounds to me like the cysts have to come out coz it's causing her pain in the shoulder and some discomfort. Or, maybe she needs another diagnosis?
She is somewhat concerned about getting such an operation done here and mentioned getting it done in Thailand or Vietnam. Apparently, it's possible to go to Thailand for medical reasons like this and Calmette offered to do the necessary paperwork despite Covid restrictions. I'm not sure that she has the funds for that plus there's the hassle of quarantine etc.
So, does anybody know anything about a reputable breast surgeon in PP or is she indeed better off going to Thailand for that?

Re: Breast surgeon?
Wife had 2 small lumps removed at Royal Phnom Penh. Went really well. Would recommend. Dr. Damrong (can't remember last name). Anyway, wasn't expensive. follow up professional also.
You know that tingly little feeling you get when you really like someone? That's common sense leaving your body.

Re: Breast surgeon?
It could be fibroadenoma, which is not considered to be serious and the general recommendation is to monitor every six months or so. The patient could also get a mammogram to ensure no risk of cancer.
Sometimes I feel that there are communication problems between doctors and patients here- i.e. in this case the doctors may have been saying "it's not necessary to have it removed, you could have it monitored again in three months. Nevertheless, if you WANT to have it removed you could do that" (i.e. its up to the patient to decide).
If your wife's friend has the paperwork from the doctor it would probably be pretty easy for you to understand what they're saying.
