Where to buy borax?
I want to clear out these ants for once and for all!
More importantly, my daughter needs it to make Slime.

Crush them up and mix them with whatever your ants desire (some prefer sweet, others prefer savoury).

But they come as tablets so don't let your daughter eat them.

Surely, borax is something that can be bought at most supermarkets.

it is sometimes used as a laundry agent.
i know it is sold in small agricultural shops in the provinces as a special formulation for ants.
unscrupulous meat and fish vendors commonly apply it to their wares in local markets to keep the flies off.
a khmer speaker should find it in any big market with this description- it is illegal to use for that purpose of course- but that does not stop them

A post on K440 as of July 2017 said Boric acid (for bugs) can be found at Smile mart (near the backpacker/juicy bar area)
Only one near there is on street 51 x street 184 i think

It definitely worked with the sweet tooth ants (mixed with condensed milk and left under the fridge). My experience with the savoury tooth ants not conclusive yet. I finely grated some cheese and mixed it with the crushed tablets and could see them dutifully carting it away to their nest... but I think the powder did not stick well enough to the cheese.

In AU when I used proper borax with fake powdered parmesan cheese (the kind that comes in packs on the shelf and doesn't need refrigeration) it worked a treat.
