Birth Control

Post by dontbeasourlemon » Wed Dec 11, 2019 8:24 pm

So what methods of birth control do you or your partner use? (I.e. pills, shots, patches, IUD, implant, ring) I am curious does Cambodia have as much diversity as the states in options? Ladies any advice? Anybody know where you can to get the shot or patches? Thanks!!!

I just club the resulting infant on the head... You get johnnies, the pill - not tailored, so be prepared for the resultant fights and breakdowns and jabs.

My wife has the implant in the arm, good for 3 years but that was done in the west.

I heard of this place and it shows it has all the options in the contraceptives menu. http://www.mariestopes.org.kh/service

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Marie Stopes are excellent and are internationally audited for clinical care as they are part of Marie Stopped International , RHAC are also good. All main options to available in Cambodia just depends on what your wife wants. A lot of Khmer women take the short term contraceptives of pill or injection on the false belief that IUD or implant will lead them to being infertile or that they have to wait the full period of time before having them removed.

I'd add compared to some states back in the US there around much better and more diverse options and certainly at much more affordable prices and dare I say more accessible for women , it's pretty progressive comparatively

Yeah, that has this section contained within:
If you want birth control pills, you can purchase them at pharmacies without a prescription, or you can obtain them at NGOs like Marie Stopes International. Some of the brands you can expect to see are FMP, Anna, Minidril, and Microgynon ED. One of the most common brands is called OK. It's been reported that some wealthier locals don't feel that they can trust OK pills because they're cheap. But, according to the Phnom Penh Post, "The pills and condoms are heavily subsidised and quality-controlled by Population Services International, a global health NGO, who target the OK brand at poor women. According to Watson the OK pill is the same as a very popular pill called Microgynan, currently prescribed to 70 percent of women in the UK."[5]
You can also get condoms, birth control pills (OK, Diane and Yasmin) at Marie Stopes.
For birth control vaginal rings, you can find them at Anna Women's-Baby Center. However, pharmacies don't seem to carry birth control rings, like Nuvaring.
For IUD insertion, you can get it done at Anna Women's-Baby Center or at Marie Stopes.
For the birth control implant, you can get it done at Marie Stopes, which provides the ImplanonNXT implant, and they also do removal. You can get it also get from Anna-Women's Baby Center.
For the birth control shot, you can get it done at Anna Women's-Baby Center or Marie Stopes.
For the birth control patch, you can find it at Anna Women's-Baby Center.
Marie Stopes offers voluntary surgical contraception permanent methods of tubal ligation and vasectomy services.
