The previous consular officer, Mr. Khun, was extremely helpful and understanding, his replacement Ms. Leap is absolutely useless, and not very helpful at all. Unfortunately, even while Mr. Khun was still in the position, there was a massive crackdown on issuing of Visas as it was discovered many people were submitting fraudulent documents.

Surely that would never happen right, I was absolutely shocked to hear people were doing that! :shock: :ROFL:

I actually met Mr. Khun for beers and a meal with our families when I was last home, as I wanted to thank him for going out of his way to assist me in applying for and obtaining my Visa whilst I was stuck in Iraq, we had quite a good chat about it all.
