Battery Back up for KOW

Hello,

I will be staying in staying in PP for several months and I would like to know if I can get a similar battery back up for my laptop and router. This is a U.S. model and I believe it is a different voltage:

I imagine they are available in PP. I really need this as I am an online teacher. Thank you in advance.

I have seen UPS (uninterruptible power supply) available in every Cambodian computer shop I have been in.

most laptops power supplies/battery chargers are good for a range of voltages.
i.e. 100v-240v
Check the power requirements on your router.
What if the IP provider goes down too when the power goes off ?
Cheaper to buy a battery and inverter/charger than an emergency power supply.

You can buy 12v power supplies in Australia. I dont know in Cambodia.

I would go for a regular battery and 12v power supplies if you can get them. An inverter if you cant.

On the subject of UPS, I bought a Prolink 2kw UPS pure sine wave type that powers my Macbook, second monitor and mini fan for 2-3 hours, or my aircon for 15 minutes

$350 all in, but a cheap UPS with a bigger car battery would last a lot longer and be maybe $120 - 150.

Batteries died very quickly though on my UPS, but replacements were only $50 and readily available.

I'm no expert on ISPs, but Metfone for me goes almost completely down after a while during a power outage. It works at a trickle, barely enough to browse a webpage.
