That is actually a good idea. Be specific though...Doc67 is referring to disposable consumer catridges for safety razors. The commercial blades like you use in barber shop for straight razors are not going to get you very much.

A big box of replacement cartridges for Gilette Mach3's could double your money though.

They are about $12 for a pack of 4 in Lucky's, and I don't believe for a moment they are genuine. I paid about $8 for a 4 pack from London this year from a large retailer who had them on a special offer. I bought a year's supply but now I am back to using the real thing I could string them out to maybe 2 years.

Why do you not believe they are genuine? Have you used them at all? I buy Mach 3's from Lucky's and one blade lasts well over a month, and they work fine. You can feel the lubricant when using genuine blades, fakes substitute a plastic strip for the lubricant strip, and fakes go blunt in a day or so.

^^ Yeah I always thought blades, and batteries were two of the brand items that were cheaper than back home. An expat I met said he stocks up on blades, shampoo and pepper before he goes home to NZ.

I bought one packet when my first UK supply ran out and they were terrible. Just my opinion. I have also bought a large bottle of Heinz Ketchup from Lucky's that had no inner seal on the bottle, tasted dodgy and the label was all askew. I am fairly sure that bottle never came anywhere near a Heinz authorised manufacturer.

The oddest thing I could never find was tamarind paste in a jar oddly enough. (for pad Thai) Always brought it back from Thailand every border hop. But if you're just visiting then it doesn't matter.
Basically everything you can get in Canada they have, even kd up to Irish spring soap lol.
Cheese, yes, is hard to come by, but many places import it at a premium. It's getting it back in 40 degree heat that's harder

its 25kg not 30, thats why I fly thai. cheaper and you get 30kg
