Is it a devilish plan by your new neighbour?
They turned up during the Eggnog and Macaroon production, and don't seem to want to leave.

It is nothing to do with my lovely and considerate neighbour.

There is a rumour that Doc had his passport taken from him and is being held against his will in a gluten free production factory and forced to work while listening to country music sung in Khmer.

I was curious as to the secret ingredient- very nice they were, even if the reaction by sprogs hinted otherwise.

What do you want help with? Macaroons or eggnog?

All festive stocks have long been depleted. I'm not working with sugar and eggs again, it's like ringing the fuckin dinner bell.

I'll stick to curry, they don't seem to like that.

No eggnog and macaroons hence forth? You’re coming off the Christmas card list.

This has worked for me several times. Echols Roach Tablets at the supermarket (Thai Huot might still have them). They are 40% Boric Acid. Grind up finely with icing sugar, one part Roach tablet to four parts sugar and put out for the ants. Just grinding regular sugar to break down works too. They'll take it back to their nest and hopefully they will disappear. Keep this stuff away from your pets though.

I noticed I had a slightly sarcastic request for how I'm dealing with my ant infestation

All gone - Boric Acid.

Had to test what my ants liked, turned out steak was the winner. finely chopped steak and put in a water and boric acid mixture.

They ate, they got it on their bodies, they took it home, they killed the entire colony.

Currently still ant free.

Cheers.

Yes, I'll call off the ants when he takes a kitten.

Having the same issue but with small cockroaches. Tried baking soda, sprays, etc, just can't stop the bastards.

Try a glue trap with a fresh bait daily for a week or two. You will seriously decimate the population that way.
