Doesn't CEO qualify as 'basic research'?superferret wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2017 2:14 pm So instead of doing any basic research, you come straight to ask the "expats" and expect someone to write you a travel guide?
Wow, man.
Who would you like him to ask, given that he probably doesn't speak Khmer?
This is the kind of crap that kills visitors to a forum.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

I interpreted that as the kind of crap that kills an expat forum, sorry, my mistake. Since you're such a nice guy,
why don't you write up a guide for mister coming for one week and hopefully many more.

Oh, sorry, I thought the forum was to help people, perhaps facetiousness and sarcasm are contagious across forums.superferret wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2017 11:48 pmUhh, he didn't ask anything specific he just asked for a whole guide basically to spending his first week in Cambodia,

I don't actually have much info for him, so I thought it better to keep quiet and let someone else answer than try and score points.
Silly me.

Ok.... Bars sell many brands of beer and many other drinks. Prices range from $0.50 up.
Masage you can get anywhere they advertise. Quality varies from place to place. You can ask any questions you have when inside.
Tours. You are not here really long enough to go on tours.
Do. Respect your host nation. Respect that you are the foreigner here. Enjoy yourself . Enjoy great food. Enjoy nice people.
Don't. Be a dickhead. Buy drugs. pick a fight with locals.
Have fun

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
Re: 1st time visit January
Be sure to head up to Siem Reap and visit the temples. They are far more interesting and memorable than any bar in PP.
Re: 1st time visit January
Is Murray still doing Harley tours? What kind of tour is the OP wanting? Local to PP, which a taxi, tuk tuk or moto could do, or further afield?
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.
