My question is meant in a light hearted tone.....

If you were the Big Man of Cambodia,.... what would you do different?
(thinking along the lines of current political, cultural and economic future)

My feelings on the Big Man...

Oppertunity lost..... He had BIG chance when coming to power to become something of a "founding father" to Cambodia..... Rebuilding after the KR years.

However, he has tarnished image with all the politics and greed (frends and family). I don't think history is to look kindly upon his time in power.

To answer question of what (ideal) to do different...... Think for people and country, not friends and family....

What I would do, Hang out at Sharkys and watch football.

Get some markings painted on the road, put up some road signs and educate the travelling public about the importance of rules when driving / riding their moto's. The number one rule being simple observation.

After witnessing yet another smash this morning involving an elderly couple, I have now vowed never to ride anything in PP again apart from tuk tuks and pass apps.

It's a shame I had to watch two elderly people fly over the tops of their handlebars, then over each other several times and slide across the road while the SUV drove over and crushed their bike for me to make this decision, but it's a decision that's been long overdue.

It's my number one jaw dropper. I am constantly astounded at the way they just fly round the corner from a side street onto a main road without even considering that it might be a good idea to check if anything is coming first. I've seen adults with small children on their bikes do it, and have narrowly missed more than I care to count. That's what I mean about at least having some markings on the road that signal when you should stop and give way.

LOL.This is the norm, and is not an "odd habit". It's even more awe-inspiring when the moto is a truck.

TIC. There was a long battle to enforce wing-mirrors for motorbikes. Because, why would you need a wing-mirror ?

Ah-ha. They have since been adopted, now that everyone has realised how useful they are. (And because it's a 10,000r fine)

Cue for special Cambodia drivers license question: What is a wing mirror used for ? I expect 5 answers in 5 minutes.

Lol UT. That's not bad at all.

Wing mirrors are also good for applying lipstick, and for fishing out unknown substances stuck between your teeth. After the pimple popping, you can also apply some cover up foundation, or pull out the stray hairs from where you forgot to shave.
And then, don't forget to check the hair again.

Now... what are helmets good for ?
