Yeah, while we appreciate everyone who's stayed onboard CEO from the beginning through thick and thin, I can't blame those who left at some point to check out Khmer440 again to see how the new ownership was doing. But I guess everyone can now see that the new ownership hasn't really done the site or its members any favors.

I just hope Scobie and his buddies are happy now. He probably bought himself the most expensive hobby in Cambodian history, so he had better get some joy out of it. He should have shown his receipt to the Guinness Book of World Records officials while there were here reporting on the biggest sticky rice snack thingy, LoL.

One thing interesting that I've noticed: Members who leave K440 to join CEO seem to make a noticeable improvement when they come over. They seem to make an effort to be better contributors here than they were over there. Including LL, Vlad, etc... They kind of seem to take it as an opportunity to start from scratch and not bring their problems with them.

Scobie needs to realize that CEO's initial success was largely to do with people being fed up with KiR, and they came to show that they could be good contributors if given the opportunity.

A perfect example for this is/was LexusSmexus. He publicly said that one of the main reasons he came over to CEO and went out of his way to contribute here more than he was on K440 was to spite KiR.

Seems Scobie is likely to go down that same road with the way he treats members.

And as Rain Dog has pointed out, we've no doubt made mistakes along the way to get this far, but no doubt we've learned from them.

And I'm with you, Soi Dog. Anyone is welcome here. CEO is not just for our drinking buddies. It's for everyone who wants to fuck around online and chat about Cambodia, etc. You and I have never met, and you've been VERY critical of CEO at times, but we've always appreciated what you've had to say, and we've never had secret Mod discussions to ban you or anything, LoL! Silliness.

Anyways, have they listed the unwanted members they've banned, or is that secret?
